wwoofing 2

Filed under: Woofing - claude @ 8:40 pm

August in southern French Alps. A tiny hamlet, 1700 m altitude, 15 inhabitants in summer, 5 in winter. The scenery is amazing, gorgeous mountains of the national Parc des Ecrins.

 from Boris balcony

There, Boris is working with 3 horses to carry wood from the forest, gaz containers, big boxes of food and buverages from the parking situaded 300 m down on a tortuous sloping rocky trail.

When i arrived, Boris’ two first wwoofers where there for a couple of days. Two young ladies from Montreal, Québec. Then, the house protects till 14 persons! I had great moments there.

But now i’m too busy to write all the details of this experience, a book should be more adapted, i have to prepare my trip to Bretagne on tuesday.

Just to resume in short words : pure air, mountains, lakes and cascasdes, walking and walking, horses, wood cooking, bread home made, wild plants sirups, qi qong, world wide culture, deers, eagles and new shining friends. Dormillouse is a special spot, where energies are strong and rare,  another balcony on the universe.

 pas belle la vie ?
